Wonderful staff. Great location.
Unfortunately this museum was closed on the day we went, the exhibits were being changed out. They said after the 21st the new exhibit would be ready. Kids can not wait to return.
Spectacular building, but it needs much more of Peterson's works, as there are just a few there. Before visiting, I recommend reading about Peterson' life in Wikipedia, which unfortunately has more information about him than was on display at the museum. The works of a famous artist (who's topic was the life of Theodore Roosevelt) on temporary display was the best part of my one hour visit (including the time in the exceptional gift shop with many good nature books for sale)
Very limited collection of Peterson's works. Definitely not worth price of admission. $15 for adults, $10 for seniors.
Wonderful evening at a special event here. On your travel list do not miss a visit to the institute it is a very special place.
