In the past the food was very good and reasonably priced. This time the food was not good at all. It had a strange taste and the general tsos was not edible.
Always my favorite lunch spot! Many choices, kind personnel, love the food!

Inexpensive small buffet diner. Food was for the most part hot. The building is starting to show it's age. Clean interior and modestly furnished.
I wanted to give 5 stars because I've had good experiences here. They have low prices, and considering that, you shouldn't expect the finest. However, the last time I went, the food was subpar. My noodle dish featured badly broken noodles with little meat. I also had a chicken dish featuring "chicken" that was deep fried batter of some sort with apparently no chicken inside.
Withstanding inconsistent quality, the Oriental Star provides great service and excellent pricing including low-price specials.
Worst experience EVER... My family orders from them at least twice a weeks spending well over 50 dollars each time... So this one time my mom from out of town comes and order around 930P and they get here at 10. When my mom open her food I could tell it wasn't freash and came off the bar... We call this morning to complain not to get her money back but asked to replace the food and they said no poor that we could have called back and left a message after they were closed... What since does that make... Never again will they ever get a dime from me EVER... I'm reporting them to the BBB and reporting them to the health department everyday until I feel like I'm happy about leaving them the hell alone...
