Food 5 star. Management and staff a 1 star. I made reservations and allowed 2 hours to dine. We were late for the concert. Server not trained and management made excuses for our wait time. Said she would "make it right" on our bill. she did take 25% off but only after we were given the wrong check, than once we got the correct check nothing was taken off. I gave it back to the server and told her to take it to management as nothing was deducted, she did. We were served a full glass of wine along with a half glass of wine, The server just thought this was okay, as she told us that was the last of the bottle. To make matters worse the wine was rancid and not drinkable. The tap beer was also not drinkable. What could have been an 5 star meal was a 1 star event. Very disappointed.

Amazing place to stop by for lunch or dinner while visiting Chautauqua Institution. They have a wonderful selection of both sea and land based entrees as well as numerous delicious appetizers. The service staff is very friendly and welcoming and the kithen staff are far beyond talented. If you do have the pleasure of stopping by for dinner you might catch the singing chef! The chef/owner is an extremely gifted vocalist and he performs nightly at 5:15, and whenever he finds the time beyond that in the evening. This is an incredible place to come by to enjoy a meal and it is very much recommended by myself and numerous others who have enjoyed the fine cuisine of La Familia located in the St. Elmo building.
